Dr. Rusk,
Chiropractor
Dr. Robert Rusk’s passion for chiropractic care is rooted in personal experience. After struggling with chronic headaches as a child and later recovering from a serious lifting injury, he saw firsthand how proper alignment and consistent care can make a meaningful difference. Today, Dr. Rusk brings that same understanding to his patients, combining clinical training with empathy for what it’s like to live with pain, stiffness, or limited mobility.

Even as a kid, Dr. Rusk felt drawn to chiropractic care. He took a short detour into Business Management at Indiana State University, but it didn’t take long for him to realize his heart was still in helping people feel better.
What he loves most is the chance to make a meaningful impact—often easing pain the same day and supporting patients as they heal and grow stronger. It’s work that brings him joy and purpose every day.
Helping people feel better through hands-on care is what ultimately drew him back. Chiropractic allows him to work directly with patients, often providing relief the same day, and supporting them as they make progress over time. It’s a career he finds genuinely fulfilling and one he’s proud to practice every day.

For Dr. Rusk, chiropractic care isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. As a ten‑year‑old dealing with daily, worsening headaches, he found relief only after a chiropractor discovered a reversed curve in his neck. With treatment, the headaches eased, and they never became a recurring part of his life again.
Years later, a lifting injury left him barely able to get out of bed. At twenty years old, he was suddenly facing the kind of pain that can take over your whole day. Chiropractic care helped him recover and avoid relying on medication long‑term.
These moments shaped not only his health, but his heart for the work he does now. He knows what it’s like to walk into a clinic hoping for answers, and he brings that understanding into every patient interaction.

Dr. Rusk attended Indiana State University before continuing his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Chiropractic school was demanding, with heavy course loads focused on anatomy, biomechanics, and the complexities of the human body. The experience reinforced his respect for how interconnected the body truly is.
After completing his education, Dr. Rusk practiced in Danville, Indiana, gaining hands-on experience. After practicing in Danville, Indiana, Dr. Rusk came to West Lafayette, where he spent nearly fifteen years working with Dr. Cline. That time allowed him to strengthen his approach to patient care, and build lasting relationships within the community. He is now excited to bring that experience into his own practice.
